John Goes Freelance Fulltime (7/5/2006)

As of today, I am officially a fulltime writer. I quit my day job to concentrate on my writing career. While I'll spend a good portion of my time working on fiction, I will also be taking freelance business-writing contracts and seeking opportunities for magazine work.

It's been an interesting trip in the two years since I left GAMA to write for myself. I'm now ready to take the next step and do this fulltime.

Father's Day Commentary Airs (6/18/2006)

"The Married Life" made it back on the air on Friday,16 June 2006. I adapted last year's column from this week, "Sins of the Father's Day," and read it for Kansas Public Radio.
