Lawrence Community Theatre presents one of the most beloved American plays of the last century, On Golden Pond. Norman and Ethel Thayer are spending their 44 th consecutive summer on Golden Pond in Maine. But just when it appears Norman cannot be dissuaded from his obsession with death, estranged daughter Chelsea returns with a surprise. She and her new boyfriend Bill are going to Europe, and they want to leave Bill’s son with Norman and Ethel for a month.
